BAND 5 CLINIC REGISTERED NURSE

The Welsh Blood Service currently has a vacancy for a band 5 Registered Nurse to work with our blood and component collection team across North Wales

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated RN who will be able to support the Senior Clinic RNs in delivering high quality donor care to our volunteer blood and component donors.

You will be expected to lead by example and ensure clinical competencies are maintained through mentoring and training support to our clinic collection and support assistants. You will also be trained to perform venepuncture and medical screening of donors.

The Welsh Blood Service is in the process of creating career progression opportunities for RNs to gain experience within departments that have an essential role in supporting blood and component collection.

Full training in all aspects of blood and component collection will be assured.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
