An new and exciting opportunity has arisen within surgery at QMS. We are looking for a proactive and confident practitioner who is able to commit to this dynamic role and navigate the changing demands of today’s healthcare environment.

Avery Hill Ward is opening a new 4 bedded enhanced recovery unit. The new unit will provide extended recovery facilities for those planned elective patients requiring a higher level of post-operative care. The unit will provide a 7 day service and will be supported 24 hours per day by an on-site anesthetist.

This autonomous role requires excellent leadership and communication skills. The right candidate will bring enthusiasm to the team, will lead by example and be able to work internal rotation (days, nights, weekends and BH’s). The candidate must have substantial experience at B5 in the acute surgical setting and have proven evidence of self-development (HDU course) and innovation.
