At Time to Talk Health we care about anxious or depressed patients having time to talk through their common mental health difficulties related to their long term physical health conditions.  We also care about our staff working in the beautiful county of West Sussex providing Talking Therapies to local residents and if you share our commitment to care, then we’d like to hear from you.

We’re recruiting experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners or those who are approaching the end of their post-graduate training and will soon be qualified.  You couldn’t find a better place to start and develop your career than in Time to Talk Health where we aspire to equality of opportunity for staff and patients alike. We will provide you with a full induction or preceptorship programme if you are newly qualified, as well as enhanced support through regular clinical supervision, protected time for clinical skills and professional development alongside annual Personal Development Reviews.

Our team is led by Senior PWPs and Senior Therapist Team Leads working alongside the Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Lead and collaborating with our patients’ physical health care teams to ensure a team culture that focuses on patient safety.  Across our services we employ Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), Trainees, CBT Therapists, Counsellors, Administrators and Employment Support Specialists, working together to deliver a comprehensive Talking Therapies Service adhering to NICE guidance and achieving excellent outcomes for patients.

Our Clinicians provide interventions by phone, in person, by video platforms and on-line. A comprehensive Group program is currently being reviewed to adhere to social distancing measures.  The teams are based in a variety of venues across the county and benefit from opportunities to work from home with all necessary IT equipment provided.

Applicants should be highly motivated with enhanced written and verbal communication skills.  Your training will have provided you with ample experience of working in primary care settings and you’ll enjoy working in a busy team environment. A basic understanding of stepped care, risk assessment, care planning, the Mental Health Act, key performance indicators and positive engagement is preferred as is an interest in physical health conditions.
