Senior Quality and Performance Manager

Job Reference: J374-63.20

Employer:
EDP Drug and Alcohol Services
Location:
Exeter
Salary:
£41,000 - £43,000 FTE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality and compliance expert to join our charity. In this role you’ll support our organisation to achieve the highest standards of regulatory, contractual and legislative compliance by developing and maintaining systems, policies and procedures to enable this. You’ll work to ensure our clinical compliance obligations are met, particularly those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

In collaboration with the Quality and Performance team at Humankind (our parent charity) you’ll work alongside senior managers across EDP to create action plans and provide colleagues with the advice and support they need to meet quality and compliance targets. You’ll conduct regular audits to measure and assess organisational compliance, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

You’ll organise EDP’s approach to risk management, identifying areas of risk and facilitating organisational learning and improvement where necessary. You’ll also act as Data Protection Officer and Senior Information Risk Officer (SIRO) and will undertake analysis and reporting as required to ensure the organisation’s compliance with DPA 2018 and GDPR principles.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a quality expert with extensive experience working at a senior level to ensure compliance with regulatory standards - particularly CQC standards. You’ll have experience planning and conducting audits as well as working with managers to develop and implement action plans to achieve positive results. Your knowledge of information governance and GDPR will be comprehensive and up to date, and ideally you’ll have some previous experience working within a clinical service or environment.

Personally you’ll possess excellent communication skills and will be confident whilst engaging and working collaboratively with colleagues of all levels up to Board level. Self-motivated, you’ll be driven by achieving results and will have a track record of implementing and maintaining effective frameworks, systems and processes. You’ll enjoy engaging with service delivery and working to enhance quality and performance by taking a solution focussed approach.

The role will involve some travel so you’ll also be happy to travel to our sites across Devon and Dorset as needed. If you would prefer to be based at another of our offices we are happy to consider this on a case by case basis.
