We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and innovative individual with excellent clinical skills to lead our Older Person community Mental Health Team in north Norfolk and Norwich. You will need to have well established leadership and management ability, as well as excellent communication and liaison skills in order to engage and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on quality, safety and be able to demonstrate experience of service improvement.

The Older Person Community Mental Health Team was rated as GOOD in all domains by the Care Quality Commission in 2019. The team offers assessment and where necessary, ongoing community treatment for people with moderate and severe mental health problems.

As part of the role you will be expected to provide strong, visible leadership, promotion of a values- based culture and be able to maintain and further develop a team committed to excellence. You will be responsible for the operational management of service delivery with this team. Due to current and future developments of the service there will be 2 Clinical Team Manager posts appointed within our team.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.


Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
