Trainee Care Support Worker - Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust

Locations covered: Norwich Community Hospital, Norwich – NR2 3TD

NHS Professionals are currently recruiting Trainee Care Support Workers for Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust

 

There is no requirement to have previous experience in the NHS or to have worked as a carer before, however successful applicants must be able to commit to the following:

• Attendance of Assessment Day – 6th Ocotber 2020

• Attendance of FREE classroom training –16th to 20thNovember 2020(Monday to Friday)

• Attendance of FREE Trust Training (PMA) – 5 days - TBC whilst on the Programme.

• Placements starting from November/December 2020

 

• 37.5 hours supervised placements, paid at national living wage

• 30 hours per week for 6 months (earlies, lates and nights pro rata)

 

Patient safety is our number one priority and continuity of patient care is essential, so we would only like to hear from applicants who are able to meet the availability required to fulfil the placement criteria, have a keen interest in the care profession and meet the basic requirements for Maths and English.

• Weekly pay. Pay rates Days: £8.72 Saturdays/Nights: £12.46 Sunday/Bank Hols: £16.13

Upon successful completion of the programme, as an NHS Professional - Flexible Worker you will have the added benefit and opportunity to continue to work as a Care Support Worker and undertake flexible shifts that suit you.
