Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a change or career advancement? We are looking to recruit a band 7 registered occupational health advisor to be part of a service offering great opportunities to develop nursing and leadership skills and inter-professional perspectives to enhance your future nursing and management practice. Your learning needs will be supported by in-house training and programmed learning opportunities. Clinical support and supervision will be available through a network of links with nurses, doctors, therapists and wellbeing practitioners.

You will be working as part of a busy multi-professional team focusing on employee health, safety and wellbeing, preventing and addressing common health problems and work outcomes.

A taste of the role:

  • A specialist resource for clients, management of occupational health issues.
  • Undertake and advise on complex occupational risks and related work health matters.
  • Provide advice and support for clinicians on biological screening, vaccinations programmes and health surveillance.
  • Contribute to the reduction of sickness absence, through risk assessment; to promote and support a return to work.
  • Provide specialist advice and occupational education/health education to clients and managers.
  • Assist in the achievement of SEQOHS standards to develop a centre of excellence. Participate in local and national audit and develop local procedures for the Service. Ensure that customer service is paramount in all activities.
