Calling all registered therapists looking to join a forward-thinking team – you could be an essential part of our fast-paced Responsive Services!

We’re throwing open our virtual doors on Thursday 17 September so you can find out more about our Trust, and our friendly and welcoming teams.

In Responsive Services, we work hard to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, and also support patients through the critical first few days after they leave hospital. This open day webinar will focus on our West Sussex team, and will be staffed by therapists just like you, ready to answer all your questions about what it’s like to work with us and our patients.

We have a variety of roles available for registered staff across West Sussex including Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Worthing and Chichester, and this is your opportunity to ask practical questions about our service and our day-to-day working lives, outside of a formal interview setting.

Are you looking for a new challenge?

Following our recent therapy review we are looking for a forward-thinking Band 6 Physiotherapist, or a Band 5 looking for a development opportunity. The successful candidate will need to have a passion for rehabilitation, and the drive to help us develop our services. We provide a patient-focused multidisciplinary approach to support, maximising independence and wellbeing, and enabling individuals to meet their goals.

The post holder will support less experienced staff, act as a clinical educator for Physiotherapy students, manage their own complex clinical caseload, and work with the Team Lead and Physio/OT Clinical Leads to ensure the provision of a high quality rehabilitation service for the local population.

We are based over three intermediate care units in Haywards Heath (Kleinwort Centre), Horsham (Horizon Unit) and Crawley (Crawley Hospital). This is a supportive environment with two Clinical Lead Physiotherapists, and operational and professional leadership forming an integral part of the wider therapy team.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, competent in a wide range of clinical areas and experience in either acute or community settings. They will demonstrate flexible problem-solving skills, and experience of goal setting and utilising outcome measures to demonstrate the effectiveness of their interventions. Above all, they will be a great team player, building relationships with teams across the area.

SCFT strives to deliver excellent care at the heart of the community, is rated "good" with "outstanding" features by the CQC, and has values of achieving ambitions, delivering excellence, working together and compassionate care.
