Housekeeper

Warrington & Halton Hospital Radiology Department is looking to recruit an “amazing” Housekeeper.

We are the ‘hidden-gem’ of the North-West and if you are a motivated, hard- working professional then “WE ARE” the perfect place for you.

The Radiology Department covers 3 fixed sites, Warrington, Halton and CMTC.

The hours of work are between 8.30 AM and 5.00 PM over 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) to be worked as part of a job share.

The Housekeeper post involves assisting in the day-to-day running of Radiology assuming delegated supervisory responsibility for the environment as well as being responsible for the maintenance of a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients and staff. The Housekeeper is also responsible for ordering and maintenance of all stock/consumables required for the efficient and safe running of the Radiology Department.

The successful applicant will ideally need to have some recent healthcare experience but this is not essential, as full, on the job training will be given. They must also be able to demonstrate experience of a range of standard and/or bespoke IT applications.

Depending on the classification of the post, in-line with DBS guidelines, a Standard or Enhanced disclosure will be required which may include a check of the ‘Vulnerable Adults List’, the ‘Children’s List’ and/or the Independent Safeguarding Authorities (ISA’s) barred lists.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
