15 months fixed term

Apprenticeship Salary £8115 per annum

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week


We are seeking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and well-organized individual to join our IT Support Services team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.


The successful applicant will have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. They will be responsible for all aspects of the IT administration within the IT Support Services team.


A list of main duties can be found in the Job Description.


They will need to:


Demonstrate experience of organising, planning and prioritizing their workload

Be computer literate and have good experience of working with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

Demonstrate good customer care as they will be the customer face of the IT Support Services team.


The candidate will work towards a NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration over the course of the year.

Closing date will be Wednesday 30th September and interviews will be held on Tuesday 6th October.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

The Trust offers free car parking at the Woodside Building (Woodside Building, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2TY) if your interview is at the Main Hospital Site, which is a five-minute walk from Woodside. You will be asked for proof of your qualifications at the conditional offer stage of your employment. If you are unable to provide evidence the offer may be withdrawn.

New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
