Head Of Digital Analytics

(Subject to Banding)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Digital Analytics Lead to drive improvements in patient care through data and digital insights. The NHS is on a journey to modernise Health & Social Care services by investing in modern, efficient and effective technology with no organisational boundaries. Join our team as we embark on our next phase to enable seamlessly integrated and optimised health & care.

This new role will fulfil day to day leadership responsibilities for the Digital Analytics Department within Digital Services. The appointee is expected to uphold the values and culture of the department, Digital Services leadership and wider Trust.

Reporting to our Deputy Chief Information Officer, you will deliver the reporting and intelligence objectives in pursuit of excellence in health & social care. Whilst responsible for the effective delivery information and intelligence services, your personal development will benefit from leading our vision of a single version of our truth, surfaced through a recently in-house developed Business Intelligence LION Portal.

Whilst Trust objectives will form your key focus you will explore the benefits of the rapidly emerging Cheshire & Merseyside intelligence solutions not least in response to the ongoing Pandemic and explore the capability to gain ever more impactful insights from available information sources.

As the trust delivers its refreshed Digital Strategy to truly enable the next phase of the organisation’s journey to outstanding, opportunities to harness the latest technology services within a highly complex, real-time landscape, will present themselves. A comprehensive, secure, digital patient journey from emergency/pre-hospital, acute and following discharge requires a seamless pathway of data records and logistics across robust infrastructure to assure the most optimum patient experience, manifesting in high quality reporting and the ability to mine for information insights for population health amongst other initiatives.

The role will operate from Warrington Hospital site with travel to Halton Hospital and meetings across the Cheshire & Merseyside region.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
