Clinical Nurse Specialist - Epilepsy

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Epilepsy Clinical Nurse Specialist to join an established team of specialist epilepsy / neurology nurses working within the Paediatric Neurology and General Paediatric services.

You will work closely with the paediatric neurologists and general paediatricians to provide teaching, information, telephone advice and support for children/families in all aspects of the speciality. You will undertake regular nurse led epilepsy review clinics.

This is a permanent position and the successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week.

You will provide regular support and advice to inpatients under the care of the Paediatric Neurologists and General Paediatricians on the main hospital site including a regular commitment to ward staff training to ensure the provision of appropriate epilepsy care for inpatients.

This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
