Senior Radiographer


We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Radiology team as a Senior Radiographer.


The Role

Our small Radiology Department, with its state-of-the-art technology, enjoys a friendly, dedicated and multi-disciplinary team, which is committed to delivering high quality diagnostic imaging, through a range of radiographic procedures.

Duties will include all aspects of general radiography including plain film, theatre work, mammography and fluoroscopy. Training for mammography will be considered for the right candidate.


The Person

The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a team whilst also being able to use their own initiative and work independently

Essential requirements –

  • DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Experience of working in orthopaedic theatres
  • Certificate of competency in mammography and post qualification experience is desirable

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital


The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopsy suite. There are two ward areas; an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.  We are proud to have a team of friendly and motivated staff who are committed to providing safe, compassionate and high quality services to its patients.


Our most recent CQC inspection was undertaken in the summer of 2016 and we were very proud to be rated as GOOD.

Salary - Up to £35,061 pro rata

Location - Exeter Hospital

Permanent, Part-Time, 22.5 hours (On call commitment)
