Are you a qualified nurse with experience of or an interest in oncology and haematology? We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to work within our Haemato-Oncology Daycase Facility and supportive therapies units at Kettering General Hospital. The Centenary Wing and CSSTU (Chemotherapy Services Supportive Treatment Unit) departments currently operate daily 0830 until 1830. We support both haematology and oncology patients and their carers and families whilst receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment and supportive therapies. We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient focused care in an expanding and evolving service.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, motivated and dynamic individuals, with good time management and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to multi task and communication skills are imperative. Acute post registration nursing experience and a relevant chemotherapy supporting qualification would be desirable. However, we will support the successful candidate through the development of skills such as: systemic anti-cancer treatment administration, cannulation, phlebotomy, care of central venous access devices and the care of the patient receiving systemic anti-cancer treatment and supportive treatments. You will receive full support from our experienced team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside various members of our multi-disciplinary colleagues.
