An opportunity has arisen to join the neuromuscular physiotherapy team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, working with a varied caseload of children mostly in the out-patient setting.

We are seeking an enthusiastic new member to our team who has experience of working with children with mobility and physical difficulties in a health, nursery or education setting. This post is part of an expanding physiotherapy service consisting of Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists, Senior Physiotherapists, Rotational Physiotherapists and a team of physiotherapists working in neuromuscular research.

The work involves both clinical and administrative/house-keeping duties, with hydrotherapy, splinting and play being important parts of the work. You will be working closely with doctors, other members of the multidisciplinary team and physiotherapy colleagues. Good communication skills including good written English and team working abilities are essential for this post.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is located in central London close to Covent Garden and Oxford Street. The Trust values all their staff and has been awarded the Improving Working Lives Practice Plus standard. There is support for CPD through provision of study leave and funding support where appropriate to the service.
