South Tees paediatric therapies team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 Physiotherapist to work across community and acute paediatrics at The James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) and surrounding area.

You will spend 3 days with the acute team covering paediatric wards, we are a regional CF centre, corrective scoliosis surgery, level 2 HDU service alongside Postnatal and Neonatal service and 2 days within community paediatrics based at West Acklam Centre covering babies, children and young people. The Paediatric Physiotherapy Service provides specialist clinical advice, assessment, treatment and health promotion development to babies, children and young people throughout early years, school years to the transition to adult services.

You will need to have well developed organisational skills with a flexible approach to the role. You must be an HCPC registered physiotherapist with a wide range of postgraduate experience within the NHS, this is an opportunity to develop specialist skills within paediatrics covering both acute and community .

You will need to have an awareness of the SEND process and the responsibility of the physiotherapist for report writing for EHCP.
