Lead Radiographer and Programme Manager- Breast Imaging

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic radiographer with excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills to manage and lead the North Derbyshire Breast Screening and Symptomatic Imaging Unit.

The service delivers both primary breast screening and symptomatic mammography.

We have an eligible screening population of 65,000 ladies.

The breast unit is fully digital with two mammography units, one being a tomosynthesis system with Tomo biopsy. In addition we have two digital mobile units and one satellite static digital mammography unit to provide primary screening to North Derbyshire.

Applicants will have a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, Certificate of competence or post grad award in mammography and be HCPC registered. This post will also require Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure.

Chesterfield is approximately 15 miles from the busy and thriving city of Sheffield which is the third largest English district by population; we are also ideally located in Derbyshire on the edge of the popular Peak District National Park.
