Pharmacist (Bank) – zero hours contract (hours as and when required)

There has never been a more exciting time to join our progressive and forward thinking Trust. We are about to embark on a journey to implement Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us to support the pharmacy team.

As a Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council you may be newly qualified, or seeking to gain professional experience in secondary care, or looking for a new challenge. Working as part of the clinical pharmacy team, you will be fully supported to further your development.

As a clinical pharmacist, your role will be to provide high quality pharmaceutical care to inpatient and community mental health service users. This will include carrying out medicines optimisation, responding to medicine information queries and supporting audits. There will also be dispensary duties carrying out clinical, legal and supervisory roles.

You should be able to work dynamically and flexibly, both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will need to have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

An interest in mental health pharmacy is desirable. No previous mental health experience is necessary as training will be provided.
