As an Occupational Therapist, join the supportive team at The Limes in Mansfield where you will help people develop new skills and build a brighter future.

You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. You'll be joining a supportive network of healthcare professionals, including a team of Occupational Therapists. 

Undertaking assessments using the Model of Human Occupation (MoHo) framework, you will be an integral member of the team in the implementation and development of evidence-based therapeutic activities to support people with mental health needs to positively progress through their care plans 

Your expertise will be put to good use in supporting people to engage in a variety of activities to help them positively progress through their care plans. You will contribute to team meetings, attend ward rounds, and CPA meetings where you will feedback on service users’ progress.

Role - Occupational Therapist 

Location - Mansfield, Nottinghamshire 

Salary - £32,000 + Benefits

Hours - 37.5, Full-Time

This role involves:

  • You will work closely with the Occupational therapist team on-site and form part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Facilitate a flexible programme of OT groups and individual interventions as part of our tiered integrated therapeutic group programme.
  • Good personal organisational skills and accomplishments to lifelong learning.
  • The role is working between Monday to Friday and you may occasionally be expected to work long days to accommodate evening groups within the service.

  • Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
  • contribute to team meetings, attend ward rounds, and CPA meetings where you will feedback on service users’ progress
  • Opportunity to supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and represent OT at hospital-wide meetings. 
  • You will undertake assessments using the Model of Human Occupation (MoHo) framework
  • Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery

To be successful in this role:

  • Current HPC registration and full BOAT membership with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Knowledge and use of a range of OT assessments and outcome measures, for example, MOHO will be required.
  • Some experience of working in a mental health setting is preferred but not essential.
