This is an opportunity for senior physiotherapists with recent relevant clinical skills, interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal physiotherapy to join our cross campus dynamic MSK service at band 6 level on a permanent basis. There is also a part time (0.6 WTE) 2 year contract available. Rotations are present on city campus, QMC campus and the Treatment Centre

NUH is an exciting place to work and will be able to offer you training opportunities ( both clinical and leadership courses that may be internal and/or external to NUH), the experience of working with highly skilled ESP staff and expose you to the world of research and the potential to work with clinical academics to enhance evidence based care.

Staff will be responsible for a diverse and complex clinical case load. All posts are rotational across both in-patients and out-patients. Rotations include ED, fracture clinic, spines, OP, gym, trauma, in-patient spines, elective orthopaedics, staff occupational physio team, Burns and Plastics, shoulder unit and the treatment centre. All rotations have access to consultants and you will be expected to work collaboratively across the MDT with a wide range of health care professionals

Other responsibilities include supervision of undergraduate students, junior and assistant staff, participating in the teaching program and facilitation of local service development.

You will need to be HCPC registered and experience of working in a busy acute setting would be a distinct advantage. Previous MSK experience is essential.

The Department is committed to personal and professional development for all staff.

A commitment to working out of hours/weekends on the most appropriate rota to your clinical skill set would be expected. This may include evenings and overnight oncall if you are deemed competent for the respiratory rota. You will be required to work flexibly over a seven day period in order to meet the needs of the Therapy Services.
