An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 registered nurses to join our Discharge Lounge team. The successful candidate will be reliable,highly motivated and enthusiastic in supporting patients on the day of discharge,as well as having the ability to work flexibly with daily challenges this environment provides.

The role will offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work closely with clinical areas of all specialties based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. You will have excellent communication skills and will have a close working relationship with pharmacy,transport and the duty management team.

The primary function of the Lounge is to support safe and timely discharge across the trust.

The Lounge service currently operates from Monday-Sunday 07:30-20:00 including Bank Holidays except Christmas day.
