An opportunity has arisen for a Diversional Activity Coordinator to join our Acute Care Service based at Farnham Road Hospital. The Acute Care Service is a fully integrated team and you will be working within the Inpatient Unit, Home Treatment Team and our Acute Therapy and Diversional Engagement Service.

Our Service is committed to working in partnership to deliver high quality care and a recovery based approach to mental health services. The team is multidisciplinary and provides a variety of therapeutic interventions including Occupational Therapy and Psychology.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to plan, design and run recreational activities with people that use our service. Your role would include facilitating activity groups to meet people’s needs and interests. You will also work with people to maximise their independence and support their recovery.

The post is supported and supervised by the Acute Therapy and Diversional Activities Service Manager.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
