It is an exciting time as the Trust has the plan to rollout Clinical Systems such as Mobile clinical e-Noting and electronic prescribing and medicine administration, the Radiology and Pathology System enhancements with significant investment to improve patient and clinicians electronic Communications and outcomes. There is real opportunity to deliver innovative solutions in partnership with leading suppliers influencing the clinical systems landscape.

To further enhance the delivery of its Clinical Systems agenda the Trust now has a vacancy for a senior project manager to lead and deliver the clinical system projects.

Dartford & Gravesham have and established well regarded Clinical Systems Development Team consisting of Business change, systems configuration, testing & training and bespoke solutions development. With an existing high score on the Clinical Digital Maturity Index the ideal candidate will be a Project Manager with expert knowledge and a proven track record of delivering clinical systems projects successfully within an Acute Healthcare setting.

The successful candidate will deploy the Clinical Systems by striving to improve quality and service levels in line with Trust requirements leading a culture of continuous improvement;. Leading on research and developing the clinical systems in line with industry best practice.

The post-holder’s responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the successful management of clinical system projects like ePMA.

  • Developing and updating business, project and reporting documentation.

  • Liaising closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, working in partnership where appropriate.

  • Identifying risks and issues, reporting and responding to them in an appropriate manner.

  • Designing clear and coherent visual presentations to help communicate messages and processes

  • Providing, championing and initiating innovative ideas to enhance project activities

  • Practical experience of requirements gathering, Business Case development, system prototyping and system implementation.
