An exciting and dynamic roll opportunity has become available for a fixed term Locum Consultant in General Medicine for Rheumatology to cover maternity leave; this is to join the already progressive and cohesive Rheumatology unit based at Watford General and Hemel Hempstead Hospitals.

The current team consists of five consultants (one of which is on maternity leave), 2 specialist registrars, a junior Medical firm of at least 4 doctors, 4 nurse specialists, and 2 Dexa nurses.

The department is responsible for providing Rheumatology services to West Hertfordshire. The department is currently in the process of expanding its portfolio due to increasing activity and population growth.

The job plan is for 5/6 Outpatient virtual clinics per week and one ward Consultant session
