If so, you may be the person we are looking for to help us care for people with mental health problems, that need admission to hospital for a short period of time.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Health Care Assistants to work in our in-patient units for people who are acutely mentally ill and who have a range of diverse and mental health problems.

As a member of the nursing team you will be required to carry out a range of practical tasks with our clients under supervision of qualified staff. Although some experience would be desirable, it is more important that we recruit the right people as training will be offered.

The Trust offers the opportunity for staff to apply for additional training including Apprentice Standard qualifications and the opportunity to apply for Nursing and Nursing Associate Apprenticeships, subject to meeting the experience and entry level requirements.

All Units work 24/7 rotational shifts which require people to work days, nights and weekends - our full time hours are 37.5 per week and each shift is 12.5 hours. The Trust has an e-rostering system in place which allocates the shift pattern for each employee.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
