Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated on the Fylde Coast just a 45 minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary services in haematology, cystic fibrosis, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery. We employ more than 6,500 staff, have approximately 900 beds and have a planned turnover in excess of £410m for 2017/2018.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Blackpool Victoria Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

As a rotational Band 5 Physiotherapist you will be required to take part in delivering a quality Physiotherapy Service in balance with working clinically alongside Consultants and other members of the Multidisciplinary Team. You will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and have a problem solving approach to patient management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to support other team members is important.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of Physiotherapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning of patients with multiple and sometimes complex diagnoses. They will also work with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide a patient centred service, working towards shared goals and a safe and timely discharge.
