An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Oxfordshire Family Nurse Partnership team. Are you a health visitor, school health nurse, midwife or family nurse wanting to really make a difference? Are you flexible and willing to take on a new role with the ability to learn quickly and adapt well to a new working environment?

We have a 33.5 hour, permanent vacancy. The post will continue to deliver the service to Oxford City and South Oxfordshire, working intensively with up to 25 families delivering the Family Nurse Partnership Programme.

We are looking for experienced, warm, enthusiastic, innovative, flexible practitioners with a diverse set of clinical skills including a passion for the ideals that the Family Nurse Partnership offers. Extensive training will be provided from the Department of Health which will involve residential training days throughout the year. This is a county wide service and the ability to travel and flexibility will be expected.

It will be helpful if you are available for FNP Foundations Training which will be delivered virtually, in September.

Interview date 24.8.2020 at East Oxford Health Centre.

Due to the current covid restrictions we wont be showing people around the office, or meeting face to face .

We anticipate the interviews will take place face to face, but this may change pending further increased infections in the area.

Own car or access to alternative travel for business use is essential.

  • New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.

  • Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
