Urology Cancer Pathway Tracker

 

 

Band 4

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Urology services at St Peters Hospital. It requires a high level of organisational skills and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive management of Urology Cancer patients from referral to treatment, and become conversant and knowledgeable in the intricacies of multiple speciality waiting lists.

 

They will be expected to manage their workload and assist with training and troubleshooting when required. The Pathway Coordinator will act as an essential point of contact for all patients waiting for a surgical procedure and play a vital role in ensuring patients are booked in line with the Trust’s access policy.

 

Ideally the candidate will have an understanding of the NHS Cancer guidelines and be able to exercise initiative and carry put their duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation.
