Safeguarding Hub Nurse Practitioner

£31,365 - £37,890 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with significant experience of safeguarding children and adults, to join the Community Safeguarding team and Sheffield multi-agency Safeguarding Hub, involving Children's Social Care; South Yorkshire Police; Health and other partners.

The Safeguarding Hub Nurse Practitioner will work jointly with a Safeguarding Nurse Specialist in the Safeguarding Hub to provide an effective and timely response to requests for health contribution, in line with the Operational Guidance for Sheffield Safeguarding Hub. Other aspects of the Safeguarding Hub Nurse Practitioner's role will be to support delivery of safeguarding advice/ training and contribution to safeguarding audits, including multi-agency audits.

The successful candidate will need to be a car owner with a clean driving license and be able to travel across the city as required.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
