An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dermatology Management Team at The University Hospitals of Leicester. The Dermatology department are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, committed and forward thinking individual for the role of Administration Manager.

The Administration Manager will support the Service Manager and General Manager to deliver the core operational functions of the Service. This will include the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate management information and reports, RTT validation and analysing performance data.

The post holder will manage administrative staff on a day-to-day basis and be responsible for the continued management of key staff functions including rota’s, sickness absence, appraisals, staff development, dissemination and training of core policies and procedures, recruitment and induction process.

In conjunction with the Service Manager, you will deal effectively with staffing problems, promoting co-operation and good team spirit and culture. You will develop and maintain constructive relationships whilst reconciling or resolving issues in a timely manner to prevent conflict. The successful applicant will be expected to build on and maintain office processes and procedures ensuring they remain efficient and user focused.

You will have a strong customer service background and be a diplomatic, empathetic listener who is patient focused.
