The role

Working in partnership with specialist and senior managerial colleagues, you will lead a highly motivated team. Using excellent communication skills, you will promote a culture of quality improvement and innovation to ensure the service provides excellent patient experience.

Locala Community Dental Service provides comprehensive dental care for children and adults with additional needs in Calderdale and Kirklees, including the towns of Halifax, Dewsbury and Huddersfield.

You will provide comprehensive, advanced dental care to patients, including conscious sedation and general anaesthesia.

You will also be the lead for the Dental Services and will have the opportunity to shape and develop the service and team. Previous experience of managing a team is essential and leading change would be desirable.

The post is offered on a full-time basis, however suitably-qualified applicants who are unable to work full-time will be considered.

You will be registered with the GDC and have a relevant postgraduate qualification. You will require a Performer Number to work within NHS Primary Care Dentistry, hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. The post will require the relevant disclosure check with the Disclosure & Barring Service.
