The High Weald, Lewes and Havens (HWLH) Radiology department is looking for a Band 6 Radiographer with a wealth of NHS experience to join our dedicated and friendly team providing plain film (DR) and dental imaging services to community referrers. Excellent clinical and problem solving skills, experience in an acute A&E, and previous experience managing and supervising in a Radiology team are all essential for this role. Working in the community, you will need the confidence and experience to advise referrers appropriately, and to prioritise clinically urgent referrals. Up to date IT skills are essential, and the use of PACS and RIS functionality are an integral part of the day to day running of the department.

You will be required to work across the HWLH Radiology departments: this post will cover weekly shifts at Crowborough War Memorial Hospital and Lewes Victoria Hospital, and occasional working at Uckfield Community Hospital. A valid driver’s licence is a must, as well as your own means of transport.
