We are seeking an exceptional individual who will take a lead position as the research enterprise and data architectural for the IT infrastructure within UHL R&I. This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the clinical and research domains and contribute to local research excellence with research informatics and flagship national data projects. The post holder will be responsible for integrating with UHL R&I infrastructure in relation to research and clinical applications, data management and interoperability.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and NIHR Chief Operating Officer the post holder will work alongside other domain architects and clinical informatics teams to develop the future vision for research within the trust in terms of applications, data strategy, external national data initiatives such as HDRUK, HDR Alliance, HIC, NIHR Patient Recruitment Centre, NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre and deliver value from the enterprise architecture function.
