Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in Community NeurologyP (0.5 WTE) 12 month fixed term contract to September 2021

We have an opportunity for an experienced, senior physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary integrated Community Neuro/Stroke ESD Team. This post offers the opportunity to work in the diverse and exciting borough of Kensington & Chelsea

This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in our client-focused rehabilitation service. You will be responsible for assessing and treating clients in their own homes and in community settings. The role also involves providing training and education to clients, their families, carers and other professionals.

The team’s caseload includes stroke patients referred to our Early Supported Discharge Service, our Specialist Neuro-rehabilitation Outreach Service, delivered in partnership with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and a wide range of acute and long-term neurological conditions.

You will need to be skilled in the assessment and rehabilitation of clients with complex multi-pathologies, including stroke, MS, PD, SCI, MND and brain tumours.

You will receive regular supervision as well as support from the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and you will have the opportunity to develop your own supervision skills through the supervision of junior physiotherapy staff and students.
