To provide a Technical and clinical service for the injection clinic and the ward at Moorfields South. Following training, the post holder will be working alongside Nurse injectors/Doctors to assist with delivering of Intravitreal injections to patients that require injections when attending clinics.

The post holder will be expected to undertake in-house training regarding aseptic techniques, opening of surgical packs and to be familiar with “time out” (checking of patients).Assist in the education and training of Band 2/3 Technicians when needed. Work with all members of the multi-professional team (nursing, medical staff, allied health professionals, support workers and all members of the management team). To support qualified nursing staff in providing high quality individualised care to a define group of service users. Working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centered care principles. Those area will be our day surgery, inpatients and pre assessment clinic.
