An exciting oppotunity has arisen to join the Patient AccessTeam as a Validation and Tracking Officer as the Trust looks at new ways of moving forward with validation processes.

We are looking for someone to join a dynamic, ever changing team to help reduce Trust waiting lists and ensure data collection is accurate.

Patient flow is one of the cornerstones of the Trust commitment to our patients. Effective administration provides the ability to ensure the patient is the focus of the activity and ensures a successful, timely and valuable journey from referral to discharge for all patients.

The Patien Access team provides a varied support to the clinical divisions in the form of a validation service ensuring routine and ad hoc validation is completed. On top of this, a service of registering referrals as soon as they are received into the Trust, and a service of ensuring expedited patients are managed appropriately. The Patient Access team also carry out clinical audio typing and supports the Trust in implementation of new systems and processes.

This role will work in conjunction with the Patient Access team leaders and managers to ensure each of the elements of this role are managed and prioritised to suit the needs of the patient and the service.

Due to the Patient Access team being a new department to the Trust, the roles and work pattern within this job description may change in the future as the role and team develops.

The vacancy is for 13.5 hours per week on a permanent basis and the base will be determined by the successful candidate.
