An exciting opportunity has become available in the Gynaecology Outpatients for a Urogynaecology Nurse Practitioner. Urogynaecology is a Sub-speciality of Gynaecology. We are looking for a Nurse who has an interest in women’s health. The role will be to deliver effective and expert care to women with prolapse and urinary incontinence. The main role will be to perform Urodynamic tests and to plan appropriate treatment and management. Experience in Gynaecology or Urology is desirable but we are looking for someone with enthusiasm and an aptitude to learn new skills and knowledge, as full training will be given for the right candidate. We are looking for a caring, compassionate nurse with good communication skills. You will work within a Multidisciplinary team and therefore should have a proven record of being a good team player but equally have the ability to work independently. The role will involve working acrossboth sites at Darent Valley and at Queen Mary’s Hospital. Whist initiallythe role isworking as a Nurse Practitioner; there is opportunity to progress within the speciality to become a Nurse Specialist.
