Do you want to be part of the change which will begin to shape and reconfigure paediatric services at UHL?

Or be part of our passionate, well established vascular team at Glenfield Hospital?

We have both part time and full time vacancies within both our Paediatric Cardiac Specialties and Vascular Specialties. We are looking for highly motivated Band 5 ODPs or Nurses who want to join our team.

University Hospitals of Leicester are reconfiguring all of our paediatric services to the LRI. The first of these moves starts with East Midlands Congenital Heart Centre (EMCHC) theatres/ catheter labs moving to a brand new purpose built theatre based at the LRI. Alongside this we are recruiting for our state of the art Vascular Theatre Team based at the Glenfield Hospital which is a welcoming and supportive team to join and develop within.

For a band 5 position if you have some experience great, but if not, you will be given training and guidance from our supportive and expert Education Team within Theatres. With a generous supernumerary status while achieving competencies, plus our practice development staff are available for bespoke clinical and theoretical training to ensure success in your new career path.

Additionally we offer an in-house anaesthetic course, access to learning beyond registration degree modules, and support for re-validation and leadership development; furthermore, we pride ourselves in being the flagship department for the band 5/6 and 6/7 development pathway course; which empowers you to develop the skills needed to progress to higher bandings with more varied roles within UHL.
