Staff Nurse - Stroke Unit - Scunthorpe

£24,907 to £30,615 pro rata per annum

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed nurses to join the Stoke Unit within the Medicine Group at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

The Stroke unit is a 21 bedded medical ward consisting of 6 hyper-acute beds and 15 acute/rehabilitation beds which provide the full range of care and treatment for a stroke patient during their stay in hospital, we also care for a wide range of general medical patients. You will be able to develop an expertise in stroke care whilst also building on your skills and knowledge in acute medical nursing. The stroke unit is a well organised ward; with a great team all working to provide excellent care for our patients. Multi-disciplinary team working is very important within stroke care and you will work very closely with the whole team, giving you access to a wealth of knowledge and skills, which will help you develop as a nurse.

Applicants should hold 1st level registration and, like the rest of our nursing team, demonstrate motivation towards delivering the highest standard of nursing care and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
