Secondment/ Fixed Term Contract (Minimum 12 months to maximum of 15 months)

 

With funding from NHS England and NHS Improvement an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an additional educator to the Placement Development Team which is part of the Department of Professional Healthcare Education.

 

The funding is to help support the current infrastructure to expand non-medical clinical placement capacity within the organisation.

 

This post will join the existing Placement Development Team and will work collaboratively with clinical teams to maximise capacity, develop the learning environments to provide learners with both a quality and varied placement experience and support and prepare supervisors / assessors in practice.

 

The placement development team have been developing placement models such as: hub and spoke, following the patient pathway and Collaborative Learning in Practice Placements (CliPP) to ensure that learners have a variation of opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills whilst working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
