A fantastic opportunity has arisen to kick start your career in the pharmacy department at University Hospitals of Leicester.

You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills to your full potential whilst working towards a level 3 QCF in Pharmacy Service Skills and BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science. You will be provided with in house training in a range of departments within the pharmacy.

Support will be provided for you to become a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC. You would need to be highly motivated, willing to learn and develop your current skills. There will be an expectation to work across the three sites of The University hospitals of Leicester.

To complete the qualification you will need to attend college once a week. Completing college work and work based evidences should be made priority.

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will be qualified to apply for Band 4 Pharmacy Technician roles within pharmacy e.g. Dispensary, Medicine Management, Clinical Trials, Aseptics and more. You will be part of the pharmacy team providing a quality service to all patients.

Minimum entry requirements are 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above or equivalent and must include Maths, English and Science
