Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and committed Band 6 Physiotherapist, to work in the established Community Falls Prevention Service. The Post covers the West side of Leicestershire and covers the areas of Northwest Leicestershire, Charnwood and Hinckley.

The team provides patients with specialist falls assessment and rehabilitation in community and outpatient settings. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team which includes Consultant Geriatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Technical Instructors.

This post requires a Physiotherapist who preferably has clinical skills and experience working with patients who are at risk of falls. Experience working in the community would also be desirable. Excellent organisation, communication and team working skills are required for this position.

This is a great opportunity to join a Falls Prevention Service which is expanding its role in Leicestershire and Rutland. The vision of this post is that it will be integral in helping to drive this expansion forward with the existing band 6 therapists and Band 7 team lead.

You will work 30hrs per week Monday-Thursday. If you are short-listed you will be invited to undertake an interview.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.
