Band 3 £19,737 - £21,142 pa (both dependent on experience)

Forest Lodge is a Low-Secure Psychiatric Unit for male service users, providing intensive nursing and rehabilitation facilities for mentally disordered offenders and others requiring secure conditions
Our aim is to provide a high quality service and therefore promote multi-disciplinary working, commitment to service user involvement, challenging stigma and promoting recovery. We pride ourselves on positive team work, professional and personal development and staff support. We offer a commitment to developing staff through regular supervision and appraisals and training opportunities.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience of mental health care either as a user/carer/volunteer/employee, or, experience of working in other care settings to provide high quality care. You should be able to work on your own initiative under the support and direction of registered nurses as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that aims to provide high quality inpatient care to a diverse population. You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to relate to patients under our care and be able to forge effective professional relationships at varying levels, with care and compassion. You will have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of practice development initiatives such as Reducing Restrictive Practice and Safewards. We offer induction and training, opportunities for personal development and supervision and support.

We are a 24 hour service and all posts will involve working a rotational shift system including night duties.
