POST: Maternity Health Care Support Worker


HOURS: Full Time hours Mon to Fri, Fixed Term Contract of 6 months

Applications are invited for the post of Health Care Support Worker within our Maternity Team, to support the midwives to provide high quality care to women, babies and their families.

The post holder will be based in the hospital setting and will be expected to work office hours (Monday to Friday) within the Antenatal Clinic. Airedale is an award winning integrated Trust in a beautiful location providing genuine opportunities for a great work-life balance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly team. Applicants must have experience of working with people, be reliable, flexible, a team player and be able to work effectively under pressure and also possess excellent communication skills.

They must also be able to undertake observations of Blood Pressure, Pulse and Temperature and obtain venous blood samples.
