This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join Wakefield Integrated Sexual Health Team as a Health Care Support Worker.

Our multi-disciplinary teams provide healthcare services to some of the most vulnerable people in our society, from diverse backgrounds, who present a full range of general, mental health and recovery concerns.

The post holder will provide support and clinical care to the service users and staff within Wakefield sexual health clinic under the supervision of a trained nurse or doctor. The post holder will also provide administrative and clerical support as required.

Experience of SystmOne is advantageous however full training will be provided.

The post holders may be asked to cover spoke clinics around Wakefield District at short notice.

SAFEGUARDING

The post holder will be expected to undertake safeguarding training (Children and Adults) appropriate to their role and adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the area the work in.
