Temporary Bank and Agency Officer

These are exciting times in Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and we have a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in HR within the NHS.

We are responding to increasing demands for a flexible workforce and seeking to further enhance our existing bank and agency team.

• You will learn the Trust Bank recruitment processes, a key foundation for anyone launching their career in temporary staffing or human resources,

• You will work closely with a number of agencies and challenge them to ensure that deployment is cost efficient and effective,

• You will work closely with line managers and clinical leads to ensure appropriate workers are deployed to shifts,

• You will work with multiple systems; ESR, PlusUs, Patchwork and Microsoft Office,

• You will work with a team to replace temporary solutions and reduce culture of reliance on locums.

• You will be working in a flexible, high-achieving and fun team in an international and diverse work atmosphere.

This role provides great opportunity to grow professionally and offers a mix of office duties combined with the face-to-face aspects of recruitment; meeting with clinical directors, departmental managers and candidates.

Depending on the classification of the post, in-line with DBS guidelines, a Standard or Enhanced disclosure will be required which may include a check of the ‘Vulnerable Adults List’, the ‘Children’s List’ and/or the Independent Safeguarding Authorities (ISA’s) barred lists.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
