Practice Nurse – Part Time

Bunbury Medical Practice – CW6 9PE

Practice Nurse required: We are a friendly rural General Practice based in Bunbury, Tarporley in Cheshire.

The successful applicant will join our Nursing Team to undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you have received appropriate training to include, but not restricted to :-

Management of chronic disease

  • Providing assessment, screening and treatment services and health education advice
  • Supplies and equipment – treatment room and other areas
  • Therapeutic monitoring
  • Wound Care and management
  • Patient health checks
  • Risk assessment
  • Health screening
  • Travel health
  • Immunisation (adult and child)
  • Minor operations (assisting GP)
  • Triage


It is important that the applicant has excellent patient facing skills and can work to a high standard as governed by our policies and procedures.

Excellent rate of pay dependant on experience, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), NHS pension scheme.
