The Surgical Admissions Lounge (SAL) receives pre and post-operative patients in daily basis on Monday to Saturday 07.00-20.00. Patients arrive prior to their operation and are consulted & prepared on SAL before being taken to theatre. If appropriate, they will come back to SAL following their operation to be recovered and discharged home.

This are has high level of activity so if you enjoy a fast pace job and learning new procedures and surgeries everyday this could be the job for you!
