The Role


This post is an opportunity 2 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist who are looking for a full-time post within Community CAMHS(St. Albans & Hemel Hempstead). The HPFT CAMHS services are under going several service developments across the county. Key to the CAMHS provision are the Tier 3 services. HPFT believe in the career development of their staff and take their wellbeing seriously.

CAMHS West is looking to recruit an enthusiastic mental health clinician with proven clinical & therapeutic skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

We welcome applicants with experience and professional registration in one of the following: Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. We are looking for clinicians with CAMHS experience, or who wants to work with young people with transferable skills.

The post is an integral role within the team and offers excellent opportunities to develop professionally and contribute to the development of innovative ways of working in a busy Tier 3 CAMHS Service. As the successful candidate, you will be working within a CAPA model offering both choice assessments and on going core partnership work.

The role requires clinicians who can be flexible and adaptive in their role, and who is interested in developing their skills further.
