This is a fantastic fixed term opportunity for a School Nurse who is interested in developing their community skills and has existing experience of working with children with disabilities to gain further experience of working with children with complex needs.

We have 15 hours (0.4 WTE) available, to cover maternity leave, to be worked in term time in special schools.

You will be working with our friendly and enthusiastic Children’s Specialist Nursing team in Brighton and Hove and working closely with two Band 6 Nurses who work in special schools, and you will receive excellent support and supervision.

We are ideally looking for cover on a Thursday and Friday,

You will be responsible for the provision, planning, and implementation of nursing care for children and young people attending special school sites. You will also be responsible for training and educating school staff, and liaising with families and other professionals. You will receive excellent support and supervision.
